my sweet DS, darling son, isn't feeling well, but luckily he is in a good mood. we are certainly looking forward to the holidays. marmee and grandpa are coming up on friday, the Christmas eve service at church, the children's service of course, santa comes and good eats with the fam on sunday. then gg and auntie duck come on the 28th. it's going to be a wonderful time with family and seeing friends. this time of year can bring so many different emotions for all people. i just love this time of year. it's just heartwarming to me. DS is beginning to understand the gift giving part and understand that we are celebrating our new born king, jesus. it's quite sweet, he will ask, "mommy, is jesus our new born king?" what's my answer, well that is obvious, at least to me it is, YES. i hope that those who have lost loved ones this holiday season--christmas and hanukah--will still enjoy the beautiful memories left by them and enjoy the new ones with those still here. merry christmas! happy hanukah!
